Engaging Your Faith: Anselm’s Cur Deus Homo

Tuesday, 28 May, 7:30 pm9:00 pm AEST

$25 – $40

Engaging Your Faith (EYF) is a series of short, online presentations that invite participants to reflect on what it means to be people of faith in the contemporary world.

Anselm’s Cur Deus Homo
St Anselm’s Cur Deus Homo (“Why God became human”) is justifiably famous, but rarely read and often misunderstood. It is not about an angry God who needs someone to punish. Rather, directed against non-believers who refuse to worship a crucified God, it talks of the cross as a place of wisdom, freedom, and honour.
