Volunteer Chaplaincy opportunity with Ambulance Victoria

Are you interested in becoming a volunteer chaplain with Ambulance Victoria?  Volunteer Chaplains play an important role in supporting the wellbeing of Ambulance Victoria personnel and their families.

Through compassionate listening, pastoral conversations and spiritual care support, volunteers help create opportunities for connection, reflection and meaning-making during both everyday challenges and significant life events.

Ambulance Victoria are interested in hearing from students undertaking studies in areas such as theology, chaplaincy, pastoral care, ministry, spiritual care or related disciplines who may be seeking a suitable placement or supervised practical experience as well as people interested in joining our Volunteer Chaplaincy Program as an ongoing volunteering opportunity.

Ambulance Victoria serves a highly diverse workforce and community, so we are also keen to continue developing a chaplaincy team that reflects Victoria’s religious, spiritual and cultural diversity.
