Christian Nationalism in Australia
Eva Burrows College staff members, Dr Sue Holdsworth and Professor Glen O’Brien hosted a University of Divinity webinar on ‘Christian Nationalism and the Australian Church’ on 10 April 2026.
Over 80 people attended to listen to keynote speakers Dr Elenie Poulos and Dr Mike Bird explore a form of teaching that is prominent in the United States but also beginning to impact Australian churches. Three elective sessions with a variety of other speakers were also available to participants. A book of essays derived from the webinars, edited by Sue and Glen, has been proposed for publication later this year.
