The State of Feminist Biblical Scholarship

Where are we now?

It has been over 30 years since hallmark feminist studies, such as Phyllis Trible’s Texts of Terror, changed the face of biblical studies. This conference pauses to reflect on the current state of feminist scholarship (and related fields), methodological issues, and texts that continue to terrorise.

Keynote speakers include Gerald West, Jione Havea, Dorothy Lee and Adela Yarbro Collins.
Contributions by Monica Melanchthon, Robyn Whitaker, Carolyn Alsen, Angela Sawyer and Rachelle Gilmour.

Time: 9:30am-5:00pm
