St Francis College calls for Expressions of Interest for the position of Registrar – St Francis College.

Permanent part-time position

St Francis College offers degrees in theology and related disciplines through the University of Divinity, from a beautiful site in Milton located only 2 km from the Brisbane CBD. A number of students undertake these studies as preparation for ministry in the Anglican Church in Queensland.

The Registrar provides administrative support to all aspects of the relationship between students and staff of St Francis College and of the University of Divinity.  This includes responding to enquiries about future and ongoing study, managing the applications for course admission, processing enrolment in units of study, leave, deferral and other course interruptions, and eligibility for graduation.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience in the academic administration (e.g. enrolments, student services), with a thorough understanding of the tertiary education sector.
  • Proven ability to deal with people in a respectful, sensitive, and proficient manner.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks, work with limited supervision and be collaborative and supportive in working with other staff in applying policies and procedures.
  • Well-developed computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite, Student Management Systems (preferably Paradigm) and Learning Management Systems (preferably Moodle).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry.

An undergraduate degree in a relevant field (eg. Theology, Humanities, Social Sciences, Counselling) is highly desirable.
