First Listen is a two-day workshop on Friday 2 October and Saturday 3 October, held in Naarm/Melbourne, involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and Indigenous and non-Indigenous theologians, ministers and community members. It will use Indigenous methods of deep listening and cyclical conversation (especially storying and yarning), with subsequent reflections.
Students, liturgical practitioners, and all interested are welcome to be part of this occasion sponsored by the University of Divinity with the support of ARTFinc.
The workshop will be followed by a 12-month program of community engagement, including publications, webinars and community gatherings designed to extend the workshops and foster ongoing collaboration.
Save the Date! Registrations will open 4 September.
