Recent Associate Professor appointments at University of Divinity

Congratulations to the academic staff recently appointed Associate Professors of the University of Divinity.

Reverend Associate Professor Robyn Whitaker

Robyn was appointed Associate Professor of the University in May 2022 in recognition of her strong contribution in the areas of Learning and Teaching, Research, and Leadership in the Academy, and her outstanding contributions to Engagement in Church and Community.

Robyn teaches New Testament at Pilgrim Theological College, specialising in the Book of Revelation.

Associate Professor Rachelle Gilmour

Rachelle was appointed Associate Professor of the University in May 2022 in recognition of her strong contribution in all areas of Learning and Teaching, Leadership in the Academy, and Engagement in Church and Community, and her outstanding work in Research.

Rachelle teaches Old Testament at Trinity College Theological School, specialising in Hebrew Bible and Hebrew language.

Reverend Associate Professor Jason Goroncy

Jason was appointed Associate Professor of the University in October 2021 in recognition of his strong contribution in Engagement in the Church and Community, and outstanding contributions to Research and in Learning and Teaching.

Jason teaches in the area of Systematic Theology at Whitley College. His current research lies chiefly in the areas of theological anthropology (with a particular focus on death and trauma), public theology, and theology and the arts.
