A New Multi-faith Immersion Day Program – Semester 2, 2015

A new multi-faith immersion day program is to be offered in Semester 2. Based on the very successful day program which was facilitated in 2013/14 by Spiritual Health Victoria, this course is run in collaboration with the University of Divinity through Stirling College (Code number: DP2/3/9022S and link http://stirling.edu.au/dp9022s ).

The program is offered in partnership with the Buddhist Council of Victoria, the Hindu Community Council of Victoria, The Islamic Council of Victoria, The Jewish Community Council of Victoria, The Orthodox Christian Chaplaincy Council and the Sikh Interfaith Council. The program offers carers in Church and healthcare roles the opportunity to experience each of these faith groups through a full day immersion program.

Dates:

Hindu – Monday 3rd August

Muslim – Tuesday August 18th

Jewish – Thursday 3rd September

Sikh – Friday 18th  September

Buddhist – Wednesday 7th October

Orthodox Christian – Monday 19th October

The program will be open to students at undergraduate, graduate certificate and post graduate levels as well as by audit.
