Meet the Pastor celebrating queer Christians in the Church

Pastor Steff Fenton, graduate of the University of Divinity (Master of Divinity, 2022), was recently interviewed by the ABC about their advocacy for queer Christians.

In the interview, Steff spoke about their childhood enthusiasm for Christianity, coming out to the church, and starting a queer friendly church.

“Seeing the transformation that happens in people’s lives of finding a space to be themselves where they’re free to explore and connect with God in a new way, where they’re not being told that they’re bad or that they don’t belong, is just so beautiful. We just have such a beautiful community, such a great bunch of people”.

Steff also gave the Valedictory Address at the 2022 Melbourne March Graduation. The video and text can be found here.
