Larry Nemer to retire after a lifetime of service

Larry Nemer SVD has finished teaching his last class at Yarra Theological Union, bringing to a conclusion a marvellous career spanning some sixty years. He completed a Licentiate in Missiology from the Gregorian University in Rome, his Masters in Church History from Catholic University of America, and his PhD in Church History from Cambridge. He taught for twenty years at CTU in Chicago and at YTU. He was President of the London Missionary Institute for six years, and Yarra Theological Union for one. He is much loved as mentor, teacher and pastor.
