The Primacy of Love in Moral Theology

Within Moral Theology charity-love has been emphasised by Christian writers and ethicists. This theme is strongly re-emphasised in Vatican II noting that the Christian vocation is to bring forth the fruit of charity in the world (Optatam totius, 16, 1965). This session will explore how love has been stressed in moral theology, Vatican II and beyond.

Date:               Saturday 23 September 2017

Time:              10.00am to 12.00pm

Venue:            Jesuit College of Spirituality, 175 Royal Parade, Parkville
