On 26 January 2024, the Reverend Canon Professor Dorothy Lee was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to the Anglican Church of Australia.
Dorothy is the Stewart Research Professor of New Testament at the Trinity College Theological School and has a particular interest in the Gospel of John as narrative and theology. She has taught extensively, has authored a number of books, and is a passionate advocate for women in the church, having written and taught in the area of feminist theology and women’s ministry in the New Testament.
Trinity College Theological School is a college of the University of Divinity from the Anglican tradition, based in Melbourne, Victoria.
