August 2024 NewsletterThe Carmelite Library holds one of the finest spirituality and mysticism collections in Australia, in addition to its many other areas of subject specialisation. We welcome both the scholar and the seeker to make use of the library’s resources, which we hope will be of benefit, whatever your spiritual interests and endeavours.
The Library Team looks forward to welcoming new and regular visitors to the library in the months ahead.
The Carmelites formed a partnership with the University of Divinity for the management of the Library from October 2023 to December 2024. During this time the University Library team is working with the Carmelite Library Interim Board to collaboratively develop recommendations as to the most appropriate long-term structure for the library operation.
The University of Divinity Library Hub provides all currently enrolled students, staff and other members of the University with access to an extensive range of online resources. This includes full-text databases, eJournals, eBooks, and a range of other useful resources.
