CTC Seminar: Leo XIV: The Significance of His Papal Name and Augustinian Spirituality

Friday, 6 March, 1:00 pm2:00 pm AEDT

The presentation by Rev Dr Max Vodola, will explore the significance of the papal name chosen by Cardinal Robert Prevost following his election to the papacy on 8 May 2025.

By honouring the author of the landmark social encyclical Rerum Novarum (1891), Leo XIV perhaps was hinting at his desire to enter into dialogue with the great social and cultural questions of our age. This presentation will also examine the significance of Leo XIV’s Augustinian background and spirituality.

Registration is not required for this free event.
