Seminar Series – Call for Presenters
The Common Good Project is a University of Divinity initiative, aimed at fostering dialogue between academics, policy-makers and public leaders. This dialogue seeks to identify how religions in Australian can contribute constructively to public life: through interfaith dialogue, public policy, organisational practices and social life.
We are calling for presenters to express their interest in contributing a discussion paper to our seminar series launching later this year. Topics might include:
- Ethical frameworks (theological, philosophical)
- Policy priorities (economic, social, environmental
- Partnerships (civil society, state and private sector)
Seminar papers should foremost stimulate collaborative questioning and discussion among a diverse audience. We welcome a diversity of voices, including representation across religions, cultures and First Nations Peoples.
The series will be a mix of online-only and hybrid seminars. We will negotiate timings to be as inclusive as possible.
If you are interested in presenting or can recommend someone at another institution/organisation, please contact the Common Good Project Co-Investigator, Paul Smyth at paulgerardsmyth@gmail.com.
