PhD Scholarship Opportunities

Full Tuition and Partial Living Allowance Valued up to $150,000

Trinity College Theological School in Melbourne, Australia, is an Anglican college of the University of Divinity. The College invites local and international applications for full-time PhD scholarships, available for commencement in 2025.

  • The Moorhouse Doctoral Scholarships celebrate the vision, intellect and achievements of James Moorhouse, second Bishop of Melbourne, who established the Theological School at Trinity in 1878.
  • The Morna Sturrock Scholarship celebrates the life of Morna Sturrock and is awarded to a woman doing a PhD in a theological discipline.
  • The Turner Fellowship is awarded to Anglican clergy undertaking HDR awards.
  • The Joan Adams Scholarships are available for students of academic promise undertaking HDR awards.

Fields of Research

Value and Duration

Scholarships will provide 100% tuition fee remission for three years of full-time doctoral study, plus a three-year partial living allowance in Melbourne.
