Professor Megan Cassidy-Welch appointed President of the Religious History Association

Congratulations to Professor Megan Cassidy-Welch who has been appointed President of the Religious History Association (RHA).

This international association was formed in 2010, with the purpose of promoting research and study of religious history in Australia and internationally. The RHA publishes the Journal of Religious History, a top-tier journal in the field. University of Divinity colleagues have been involved in the Religious History Association for a number of years, including Professor Katharine Massam as former secretary and Reverend Professor Glen O’Brien as outgoing Vice President.

About the appointment, Megan said “I am delighted and honoured by this opportunity to support and promote research in religious history nationally and internationally, and look forward to building connections, supporting scholars and students, and growing the Journal of Religious History”.
