THE WHYS AND HOWS OF RESEARCH IN SPIRITUAL CARE AND PRACTICE
Making a good thing better!
The on-the-ground practitioner already has many research skills. ‘Let ministry/practice teach’ is a way of life. What they sometimes lack is the support, encouragement, pathways and academic mentoring to enable their knowledge and skills to enhance their field. This free seminar will encourage practitioners to value their existing skills and practice. The University of Divinity and its Colleges offer many relevant units of further study, but through you, may also become a partner in developing or extending research capacity.
John Swinton is Professor in Practical Theology and Pastoral Care at the School of Divinity, Religious Studies and Philosophy, University of Aberdeen, Scotland, and will address questions with local panellists.
