About us

Wollaston Theological College is the theological college of the Anglican Diocese of Perth. Wollaston Theological College is responsible for the oversight, coordination and provision of Education, Formation and Training for all people in the Diocese of Perth, lay or ordained clergy. The College is located at a site generally known as ‘Wollaston’ in Mount Claremont, Western Australia. This site has a significant place in the life of the Diocese, having been the central point for Theological Education in the Diocese since 1957. Wollaston Theological College offers certificates, diplomas and degrees accredited by the University of Divinity.

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity awaits a dynamic and energetic academic to join our faculty as Lecturer and Registrar. This unique dual role combines teaching and research responsibilities with the administration of student enrolment and management of academic records and compliance requirements.

Applications from applicants with expertise in the fields of systematic theology, church history, pastoral and spiritual care, and chaplaincy studies will be particularly welcomed.

About you

You are committed to the promotion and dissemination of theological education, both within the academy and more broadly, and may have experience in teaching at the tertiary level. You have, or are about to complete, a PhD (or equivalent) in theology or a related discipline. You are passionate about teaching and research and are willing to take on a partly administrative role in order to undertake these activities.

You are effective at working independently and as a part of a small, collaborative team.

You are sympathetic to the Mission and Values of the Anglican Diocese of Perth and may be either ordained or lay.
