St Barnabas College is an Anglican college in Adelaide which offers higher education awards accredited with the University of Divinity. We offer face-to-face and online learning in a well-equipped environment. The College operates within the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide as a community of learning, equipping and enabling people for service in the church and wider community. We offer and administer lay education programs, professional development for clergy, and preparation for ordination in the Anglican Church.
We are looking for a person to be Academic Registrar and Administration Manager who is committed to ensuring best practices and outcomes for our students, who communicates well and enjoys working with people. Experience in a higher education setting preferred and candidates will have a university qualification in business or administration (or similar) for this position.
The role of Registrar and Administration Manager is twofold. The Registrar’s responsibilities include:
- student records, including enrolments, admissions, entry requirements, and application documents
- ensuring availability and accessibility of support services to students
- support users in the University Learning Management System – experience preferred but training will be provided
- schedule subjects in Unit Management System
- management and processing of student results
The Administration Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the administration of the College. As a keen administrator you will:
- ensure the College complies with regulatory requirements
- oversee and manage IT systems, lecture setup, and liaise with IT support
- manage invoices and sessional lecturer contracts
- keep accurate records and file and information management
- prepare board meeting agenda, papers and act as minute secretary
- be involved in preparing for and organising public events
