Job Opportunity | Lecturer in Biblical Studies (New Testament)

Trinity College Theological School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Biblical Studies (New Testament) commencing February 2026. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, contribute to research in the field of New Testament studies, and support the School’s vision of being a leading theological college within the Anglican Church of Australia, as part of the University of Divinity.

To be successful in this role applicants will need to possess a doctoral degree by research in New Testament and a relevant publications record, together with demonstrated experience and achievement in engaged and inductive-based teaching and learning.

Summary Details

• Salary Range: FTE $106,755-$120,100 (Lecturer to Senior Lecturer) plus 17.5% leave loading plus 12% superannuation.
• Contract Term: Two-year appointment commencing 2 February 2026.
