Theology of Catherine Booth Unit

Catherine Booth College are proud to announce an undergraduate and postgraduate unit presented by Dr. John Read at Catherine Booth College from 8-19 February, 2016. The title of the unit is the Theology of Catherine Booth in its Historical and Contemporary Contexts.

Major Dr John Read is a Salvation Army officer currently serving as the Army’s ecumenical officer for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. He is the author of ‘Catherine Booth: Laying the Theological Foundations of a Radical Movement’, which was based on his doctoral research (University of Manchester). John has served in teaching roles in UK and across the world.
