May 2025 Graduation in Brisbane

Congratulations to all our newest graduates!

On the evening of Friday 30 May 2025, the University community gathered at St John’s Cathedral in Brisbane to witness the graduation of 35 students receiving 35 awards. 19 graduands attended the ceremony to receive their award in-person. The Graduation Address was given by the Reverend Canon Dr Gregory Jenks, who was also awarded the University’s prestigious Doctor of Divinity (honoris causa). The University Medal was awarded to Dr Donna Neander, for completion of a doctoral thesis of exceptional quality.

The ceremony was attended by more than 120 guests, including graduates, University and College staff, representatives from our partner churches and the family, friends and supporters of our graduates. Music was provided by the Salvation Army Brisbane City Temple Band.
