The Jesuit College of Spirituality is an arm of the Australian Province of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) and one of eleven Colleges that make up the University of Divinity. As the only college within the University of Divinity that specialises in spirituality, the College’s mission is to provide personal spiritual formation that enables creative leaders to transform the world. It provides a range of both post-graduate and ‘short-course’ academically rigorous programs in a supportive, faith-based learning community.

Reporting to the Registrar, and working as part of a small but dedicated team, the Student Engagement Officer will provide administrative, IT and AV support and advice to students and faculty staff across the range of matters that shape a positive and holistic student experience. They will provide comprehensive information and services on matters including student enrolment, timetabling, international student compliance, fee assistance, and College policies. They will also manage the College website and social media, ensuring that the most current, contemporary and quality information regarding College programs, pathways and events is widely accessible. Based at the College’s new premises in Parkville, and working on a permanent part-time basis (Tuesday to Thursday, between 10am and 6pm) you will develop close relationships with both staff and students, and systems and processes that ensure that both studying and working at the College is a positive experience.

With a natural bent to outstanding customer service and a passion for technology, you will bring to the role previous experience and expertise in systems and processes that enhance the experience of both students and staff in a values-driven educational environment.   With an undergraduate degree and relevant work experience, you will enjoy, above all, the variety of communication, problem-solving and support you will be called on to provide as the College continues to grow.
