Clergy status in an age of the Royal Commission

 

The inaugural Robin Sharwood Lecture at Trinity College will address how the canon law understanding of the status of clergy and historical church processes for dealing with misconduct have interacted with the processes and goals of the civil law over the past millennium and today.

The first Robin Sharwood Lecture will be delivered by the Hon Keith Mason, AC, QC – President of the Appellate Tribunal of the Anglican Church of Australia, and former President of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
