Uniting College for Leadership and TheologyRev Dr Tim Hein has been appointed Director of Leadership at Uniting College for Leadership & Theology (UCLT) from 1st March 2024. Tim will conclude as Executive Officer, Mission and Leadership Development in the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia as he takes up his new appointment. He will combine this new role with his congregational leadership of Malvern Uniting Church.
Tim has considerable experience in Christian leadership and is the author of Understanding Sexual Abuse: A Guide for Ministry Leaders and Survivors (2018).
‘Tim has both the academic credentials for this position and the experience in leadership across several church and secular organisations. We are very grateful for the strategic leadership that he has shown over the past two years in guiding the Mission and Leadership Development area of the Synod and look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role’, said Principal Vicky Balabanski.
