2014 Adelaide Graduation

 

The University of Divinity held its first ever Graduation ceremony in Adelaide on 5 December 2014 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The Chancellor, Graeme Blackman, presided over the ceremony for 42 students from the Australian Lutheran College in the presence of friends, family, academic staff, members of the University Council and of the Board of Directors of Australian Lutheran College, the Vice-Chancellor, Peter Sherlock, and the Bishop of the Lutheran Church of Australia, John Henderson.

Dr Deidre Palmer, Moderator for the Uniting Church in South Australia, delivered a stirring address to the 21 graduates in attendance.

The next Graduation ceremony held for all eligible University students will be at 7.30pm on Friday 20 March 2015 at St Michael’s Uniting Church, Collins Street, Melbourne. Ceremonies will continue to be held annually in Adelaide.
