The Return of the Common Good

Associate Professor in Political Science, Stefan Borg was one of the first to identify the emergence of postliberal accounts of the common good as leading the alternatives to a neoliberal policy paradigm in decay. In doing so he highlighted the clear political differences between the communitarian British strand associated with ‘Blue Labour’ etc and the more statist thinking in the US with Vermeule, J D Vance etc. Here Stefan will take stock of their fortunes in our fast moving poilicy environments.
