Venue: Yarra Theological Union Study Centre, 98 Albion Road, Box Hill, Victoria 3128
Cost: there is no cost for the conference
This will be an in-person two-day event bringing together academics, missiologists, and mission practitioners from Australia and beyond engaging in an ecumenical conversation towards awareness, sharing, and practice of being a missionary church. The Conference aims to highlight and trace the roots of Missio Dei through the World Council of Churches, the Lausanne Conference, and Vatican II. The Conference aims to be more than a reprise of history. This year marks the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea (325-2025) and its implications for mission today. The faith of Nicaea in its beauty and grandeur is the common faith of all Christians.
