Emerging Scholars and Practitioners Community of Practice

The (Re)Emerging Scholars and Practitioners of the Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality (SSCS) is a contemplative community of early career academics, postdocs, graduate students, independent scholars, creatives, and practitioners. We meet on Zoom, generally monthly, to support each other’s work.

We are, first and foremost, a community of practice—a community that practices contemplatively. A community that pauses and breathes together, listens to and witnesses one another, creates and learns from one another, while periodically engaging in dialogue with mentors.

We warmly welcome new members.
