The Master of Catholic Theological College, Very Rev Dr Kevin Lenehan, invites you to the book launch of The Breath of Christ: Discovering the Power of the Jesus Prayer by Rev Dr Hoa Trung Dinh SJ. Presented by Mr Michael McGirr Mission Director, Caritas Australia.

The Breath of Christ invites readers to rediscover the ancient Jesus Prayer as a path to healing and wholeness in today’s world. Drawing from personal experience in pastoral ministry, retreats, and spiritual accompaniment, the author shows how naming one’s feelings and struggles can become prayer through the invocation of Jesus’ name. After tracing the Prayer’s history and tradition, the book explores themes such as anxiety, trauma, anger, negative self-talk, resistance, and surrender—integrating insights from psychology and spirituality. This practical and compassionate guide offers busy people a simple yet profound way to encounter Christ in the midst of daily life.
