On Monday 1st October 2018, Fr Andy Bullen SJ delivered an interactive and highly engaging ‘Seeing is Believing’ session guiding the participants through classic and contemporary pieces of Christian art. From Warhol to da Vinci and from Caravaggio to Dali, Fr Andy focused on how to ask basic but powerful questions of the artwork. The interaction between what you see in a piece of art, how it makes you feel, why it makes you feel a certain way, and why this is significant to the overall spiritual contemplation of both classic and contemporary artwork which can inspire in its observers. Thank you to Fr Andy and all participants for a wonderful communal experience.
