The Lecturer

Professor John J Collins is one of the leading Old Testament scholars in the United States, where he is the Holmes Professor of
Old Testament Criticism and Interpretation at Yale Divinity School. A native of Ireland, he has published extensively on the subjects of apocalypticism, wisdom, Hellenistic Judaism and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
