A collection of essays arguing that Christian theology in Australia, if it is to be fully authentic, must hear Indigenous voices as integral. There are essays on this theme by non-Indigenous Australians, a Russian philosopher of ethnology addressing question of Indigeneity more widely. Two essays by Māori scholars living in Australia address the idea being both Indigenous but living on stolen land. Four contributors are Indigenous Australian theologians reflecting on the situation for community after the unsuccessful 2023 Referendum. Poetry features in several of the chapters as the expression of primary emotional response calling the reader to deeper reflection.
