Remembering and Forgetting in Christian History

It has been said that ‘history has been written by the winners’ but who gets to decide who is included in the stories that make up the history of Christianity? Who is remembered, who is forgotten, and why? This unit provides an historical survey of key people, themes, and events in the study of Christian history, but with a special focus on the contribution of women. Come and explore issues of significance faced by Christianity throughout the life of the church in a way that attempts a more just and representative telling of the Christian story.
