The Anglican Schools Commission (ASC) is one of the five commissions within the Anglican Church Southern Queensland (ACSQ), working with 21 schools and 19 Education and Care Services across Southeast Queensland. Join us in shaping the spiritual and educational future of Anglican schools across the Diocese of Brisbane. As the Director of Mission, you will play a pivotal role in fostering Anglican identity, inspiring faith journeys, and driving mission-focused initiatives.
What would you be doing?
- Supporting our community to ensure Anglican schools within the Diocese of Brisbane are firmly grounded in their Anglican identity and purpose.
- Building relationships with school leaders, chaplains, and staff to foster alignment with Anglican Ethos and values.
- Delivering professional development and creating resources to support the spiritual and educational growth of Anglican schools.
- Strengthening and supporting the maintenance of a dynamic network of School Chaplains, ensuring their effectiveness and engagement.
- Collaborating with church commissions to implement initiatives that build connections in support of the Anglican mission.
- Supporting mission integration, fostering vibrant, faith-filled school communities.
- Encouraging vocations to ordained ministry within school communities and promoting diverse worship opportunities for staff, students, and families
