Ministry Opportunity – Associate Pastor at North East Baptist Church

North East Baptist Church is located 20 minutes from the centre of Brisbane in Nundah. NEB is an active, local, relevant and contemporary witness to Jesus Christ in the north-eastern suburbs of Brisbane. NEB is seeking an Associate Pastor to join the existing pastoral team who has the appropriate heart, giftings and passion to build on the strengths of our existing ministries and leadership team.

This role is available on a full-time basis or as few as three days per week depending on candidate preference and availability. The Associate Pastor will participate in general pastoral activities such as the care of members, contribution to worship services and participation in other key events in the church calendar. In addition, the successful candidate will adopt a portfolio of responsibilities aligned with their giftings and hours, including (but not limited to) oversight of ministry areas such as –

• Children’s ministry
• Youth and young adult’s ministries
• Connect group coordination
• Welcoming team and other church care responsibilities
• Community outreach initiatives
