Discipling Young People in Migrant Contexts

This unit explores what it means for leaders of migrant, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) faith communities in Australia, to minister to young people. Students will explore a range of frameworks for contextualisation, drawing from a breadth of local and global Asian and Pasifika scholarship. Students will be equipped to develop contextual theological responses to local challenges.

An intensive subject that runs for 5 Sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays as follows:

  • Oct 1 – 4, 9:30am – 4:30pm
  • Oct 5, 9:00am to 4:00pm
  • Oct 4: Discipling Youth Symposium (6pm – 9pm)
