Pilgrim Theological College presents the JD Northey Lecture:

The Splendour and Power of Images

by Rev. Prof. Volker Kuster, Professor of Missiology and Comparative Religion, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Germany.

Professor Kuster will discuss the development of an interreligious aesthetic. With the help of five generative themes; aniconism, representation and illustration, iconoclasm, syncretism and de/secularization; rich material from different religions will be systematized and compared.
