Winter Intensive | Social and Community Mission

Social and Community Mission 1 explores the theology and practice of social and community services as an expression of holistic Christian mission. This unit is running as an online intensive, Tuesday 14 to Friday 24 June 2022.

Offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, you’ll:

• Learn the theological basis for Christian engagement in social service provision
• Have a broad understanding of structural disadvantage in a range of contemporary Australian social issues
• Explore some of the ethical concerns associated with social and community services delivery
• Study practical ways to demonstrate commitment to social justice
