Semester 2 unit | Humanity 3.0: Theological responses to transhumanism, posthumanism, and antihumanism

Semester 2 unit at Eva Burrows College

Have you ever wondered what it means to say that human beings are “made in the image of God”? What do the increasing capacities of artificial intelligence mean for humanity? Could machines ever develop consciousness? What ethical questions are raised by the extension of the human life span?

If you are challenged by these questions and are seeking answers, you’ll be interested in our Semester 2 unit, Humanity 3.0: Theological Responses to Transhumanism, Posthumanism and Antihumanism.

Reverend Dr Arseny Ermakov and Reverend Associate Professor Glen O’Brien will assist you through mind opening ideas and discussions as you consider the impact of our changing world on humanity from a Christian perspective.
