Seeds of the Spirit introduces students to the engagement between theology and culture. It examines how Christian mission from Acts onwards, has embraced a number of different approaches to culture to spread the gospel through, for example, language and ritual. It further explores the relationship between gospel and culture by examining how culture may give a distinctive ethos or shape to expressions of Christian faith. In surveying both the history and diversity of Christian expression, students will develop theological methods which recognises the role which culture takes in their own theological method.
