‘Cardinal Newman’ has been a household name for more than a century. Now St John Henry Newman, his earthly pilgrimage led him forge both a defence of the faith challenged by rising secularism and also to deep spirituality. He can still enlighten and encourage the contemporary Catholic.

Reverend Professor Austin Cooper OMI AM is teaching the unit ‘Newman and the Nineteenth Century Church’ online across 12 Saturday mornings. This unit can be taken as an audit student, or towards an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
