Higher Degree by Research studies at Morling College

Morling College welcomes applications from potential HDR candidates in a wide range of fields, including biblical studies, Christian history, systematic theology and practical theology, as well as inter-disciplinary topics at the intersections of Christian theology, biblical studies, education, psychology and medicine. Doctor of Philosophy

The Doctor of Philosophy (AQF level 10 Doctoral Research) course has been designed to qualify individuals who apply a substantial body of knowledge in more traditional fields of theology, to research investigate and develop new knowledge in one or more areas of investigation, scholarship or professional practice. It is also designed to allow candidates whose academic background is in fields other than those traditionally related to theology, to pursue research in their primary field and integrate their research with knowledge from various Christian traditional theological disciplines.

Doctor of Theology

The Doctor of Theology (AQF level 10 Doctoral Research) course has been designed to qualify individuals who apply a substantial body of knowledge in more traditional fields of theology to research, investigate and develop new knowledge in one or more areas of investigation, scholarship or professional practice.

Master of Philosophy

The Master of Philosophy is a higher degree by research. The purpose of the Master of Philosophy is to qualify individuals who apply an advanced body of knowledge in a range of contexts for research and scholarship, and as a pathway for possible further study.

Master of Theology

The Master of Theology is a higher degree by research. The purpose of the Master of Theology is to qualify individuals who apply an advanced body of knowledge in a range of contexts for research and scholarship, and as a pathway for possible further study.
