Adelaide Graduation 2015

 

Tonight 54 students from 7 Colleges of the University will graduate at the annual Adelaide Graduation ceremony, at which the Chancellor, Dr Graeme Blackman OAM, will preside. The ceremony will be held at Immanuel College Chapel in the presence of Bishop John Henderson of the Lutheran Church of Australia. This is the second time the University has held a graduation in Adelaide.

The graduates include a Vice-Chancellor’s Scholar for 2015, Matthew Bishop (Australian Lutheran College), who receives his Bachelor of Ministry. Doctoral graduands include the Revd Dr Cecilia Francis (Trinity College Theological School) who receives the degree of Doctor of Ministry Studies for a thesis exploring contemporary leadership theory and Christian theology.

The speaker at the ceremony is the Revd Canon Professor Dorothy Lee, Dean of Trinity College Theological School, an internationally renowned biblical scholar who was recently honoured by election as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities.
