SUMMARY:Postsecularism in Russia: instrumentalization of religion
DESCRIPTION:Lecture by Sr Teresa Obolevitch\, Professor of Philosophy of God and Religion at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow\, Poland. \nSr Teresa has been invited to give this lecture by the Religion and Social Policy Network of the University of Divinity. \n____ \n \nBorn in 1974\, S. Tereza defended her MA thesis at the Theological Institute in Tarnów\, affiliated with the Pontifical Academy of Theology in Kraków\, in 2002. In 2005\, she obtained her doctorate in philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Polish Academy of Sciences\, where she has been working since 2006. In 2012\, S. Tereza received her habilitation\, and in 2018\, the academic title of professor of humanities. S. Tereza is the: \n\nChair of the Department of Philosophy of God and Religion;\nMember of the Copernicus Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Krakow;\nMember of Accademia Ambrosiana in Milan and a member of the Advisory Board of Northwestern University Research Initiative in Russian Philosophy\, Literature\, and Religious Thought;\nA member of the Philosophy of Sciences Commission of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences (since 2019)\nPart of the Committee on Philosophical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences (from 2016-2019 and currently the 2020-2023 term).\n\nS. Tereza is the author of over 200 scientific papers in Polish\, English\, French\, and Russian. You can visit S.
