Taking Care of Business: Reclaiming Community among Local Businesses
Saturday, 22 May, 10:00 am–3:30 pm AEST
Saturday 22 May 2021
10.00am – 3.30pm | Old Warden’s Lodge, Trinity College,
100 Royal Parade, Parkville
Many parishes and church organisations wish to build links to local businesses, but few do. This seminar will describe how successful business engagements have been achieved, provide an opportunity to hear from current practitioners and discuss the current research in the area. The seminar will also provide an opportunity for parish and non-parish groups to do some guided planning for their own initiative. A panel discussion will be held with three members of church organisations already engaged with the business community. Led by the Revd Dr Richard Wilson, an Anglican priest currently working
on an initiative to create a public conversation between business and the church on common community concerns.
$50 | $35 concession
