Speaking and writing for public media

Dr Almatine Leene, Stellenbosch University, South Africa

The University of Divinity hosts a special event on the 14th of November (2-3.30pm) focusing on speaking and writing for public media. This seminar will take place in the Armstrong Room at Trinity College Theological School and will be led by Rev Dr Almatine Leene. Almatine is a scholar systematic theology and earned her PhD with a dissertation focusing on the implications of the doctrine of God for female-male relationships in the church. Almatine seeks to bridge her scholarly work in this area with pastoral practice She is currently working on a publication about God, gender and sexuality, together with Rev Dr René Erwich (Principal of Whitley College). Sharing from her own experience, Almatine will talk about speaking for public media, helpful rules for media-related conversations and give some insights in writing for public and social media.
