Research Matters: SGR Open Day 1 (Box Hill)
Thursday, 5 August, 6:30 pm–8:00 pm AEST
Join the School of Graduate Research for a conversation this August.
The University of Divinity is renowned for its Higher Degree Research graduates. Many graduates have gone on to academic positions in Australia and overseas. The University has a completion rate well above the national average and is nationally recognised as having the most positive student experience of any university in Australia.
Our world-class School of Graduate Research (SGR) is pleased to invite you to join us for an in-person open day event to find out why research matters, and the value of undertaking research for your career, ministry and for the Australian Church at large.
During the session, you will have the opportunity to hear from a student, a research coordinator and supervisor from one of our colleges, and from the Dean of the SGR, Associate Professor Liz Boase. There will also be time for Q&A about the research study and application processes.
Join us at 6:30pm for light refreshments. Session formalities will begin at 7:00pm.
- Reverend Dr Max Vodola (Research Coordinator, Catholic Theological College)
- Christine Faragher (PhD student, Eva Burrows College)
- Reverend Emily Fraser (PhD student, Trinity College Theological School)
- Associate Professor Liz Boase (Dean, SGR)
COVID contingency – if the COVID situation in Victoria at the time of the event is deemed unsafe to proceed with an in-person event, the event will be held at the planned time via Zoom. An update will be posted to this page and registrants will be contacted if this contingency plan becomes necessary.
