Information session: Study Tour of the Biblical Lands

Discover the heart of your faith on this 21-day study tour through Jordan, Israel and Palestinian Territories and Greece.

Jordan—5 days

Recall Jesus’ baptism at “Bethany beyond the Jordan”, float in the waters of the Dead Sea, journey into the rose city of Petra, and visit the magnificent Decapolis city of Jerash.

Israel and Palestinian Territories—10 days

Immerse yourself in Jesus and his mission on and around the Sea of Galilee. Pray at the birthplace of Jesus in Bethlehem and visit the fields of Beit Sahour: Shepherds’ Field and the Field of Boaz. View Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. Visit the City of David and walk the Western Wall tunnels to the first-century level. Traverse the passion of Jesus via Gethsemane, Calvary and the Holy Sepulchre. Investigate the ancient city of Megiddo (Armageddon) and imagine life in the community at Qumran.

Greece—6 days

Follow Paul’s journey through Philippi, Thessaloniki and Beroea to Athens and Corinth.


Crete and Delphi—3 days

Arrive into Heraklion to visit Knossos and the museum. Travel across the island to the ancient Roman site, Crete Gortys, the Church of Titus, St Paul’s Cave and the chapel at “Fair Havens”. Then encounter the mystery of Delphi.

Additional cost: $1,565 per person, twin share ($545 single-traveller supplement)

Study options

Take this tour for credit or as an audit participant in two units in Old and New Testaments. All travellers participate as either credit students or audit participants.

Single-traveller supplement: $3,985

Study costs are additional.

The tour cost includes guides, all airfares and bus travel, entry to sites and museums, high-quality accommodation with breakfast and dinner daily, visas and tips.
